Portuguese-Inspired Sangria
This recipe is very similar to the BEST Sangria I tasted when visiting Portugal, hope you enjoy it too!

Ingredients
- 8 ozs orange juice or pineapple-orange juice
- 1 can ginger-ale or 7 UP
- 1.5 ozs Triple Sec
- 1.5 ozs brandy of choice (I use Port wine many times!)
- 1 medium apple peeled, cored, cut into cubes
- ½ medium orange peeled, cut into cubes or 1 small can of undrained mandarin oranges
- 1 - 1.5 bottles of favorite full bodied red wine (I use Cabernet, Merlot, or Shiraz)
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a 2 liter glass pitcher, combine orange juice, ginger-ale, Triple Sec, brandy or Port wine.
- Stir to blend.
- Mix in fruit.
- Top off ingredients with the wine, and stir.
- Add ice cubes to chill and serve immediately.
- Enjoy with friends!
